Nova Europa was established in 1996 by Christopher Preston. Following an earlier business school and management consultancy career Chris wanted to focus on working within client organisations to close the gap between strategy and delivery. An accredited Practitioner in Project (PRINCE2), Programme(MSP) and Portfolio (MoP) management, he has extensive experience of adapting best practice approaches to the specific needs of individual organisations.
Leading public administration reform programmes for the Governments of Poland, Romania, and Lithuania in order to focus and accelerate their preparations for EU membership.
Supporting the development and implementation of a multi agency efficiency and effectiveness reform programme in Scotland’s justice system.
Designing and leading a restructuring and integration programme within a group of four probation trusts as part of the Ministry of Justice’s transformation programme for community justice and rehabilitation.
Developing the programme and project management capacity of a major training organisation in policing ensuring consistent and timely delivery of major initiatives.
Designing and implementing a new skills and HR capability framework within a devolved administration to enable more flexible career development and improved talent management.
